Job Role

This is a very hands-on role for an enthusiastic individual who understands accounting well.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant

  • Preparing and recording purchase invoices for the business on regular basis
  • Recording Various expenses and credit card transactions
  • Account for intercompany transactions
  • Posting of depreciation
  • Preparing Accruals and Prepayments for year end
  • Helping with sales reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Arrange for periodic stock valuation
  • Filling of VAT Return
  • Prepare BS Reconciliations and co-ordinate with accountants for YE accounts
  • Co-ordinate with different people / department’s for information

The successful candidate should have:

  • At least 3-4 years sales accounting experience
  • Xero Accounting experience is highly desirable
  • Great communication skills
  • Being Confident and focused
  • Able to use own initiative

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00 to £14.00 /hour
