This 12C Spider has the latest (and final) cailbrations for everything from the steering to suspension down to the powertrain itself. Like all 2013 model 12Cs the Spider has a power hike to 616bhp.

Built in McLaren's then newly built Woking factory, the first cars were registered from mid-2011 and production continued until 2014 to replace the 12C with the 650S. The 12C featured the same basic 3.8L twin turbo V8 unit that would later be used in the P1 hypercar.

Like the coupe, the Spider is based on a carbon monocell chassis that offers superb rigidity and crash protection. The two-peice retractable hard top can close in just 1 seconds at speeds up to 19mph. The Spider also has more luggage space than the coupe as the tonneau cover can be operated seperately.

The 12C is known for its blistering performance and offers superb handling and ride quality, making it a very easy car to use day to day. The 12C has been one of our best selling cars and have found their level, widely being considered aamzing value and a cheaper but highly thrilling alternative to the renownedly popular Ferrari 458 Spider.
