FAQs
Where will my car be advertised?
Your car will be advertised on the GVE London website as well as other know vehicle advertisement platforms including Autotrader, PistonHeads and Car and Classic.
For what period of time will my car remain with GVE?
Cars are usually kept in the GVE showroom for a period of 90 days, however this is negociable.
How will my car be kept safe?
Our showroom is monitored by 24hr CCTV and is manned with staff. The showroom as well as the cars are kept locked overnight, with the keys being stored in a safe and discrete location.
How will my car be kept clean?
Our in-house detailing team ensure that the paintwork on every car in out showroom is maintained to a high standard. The showroom cars are monitored and wiped daily.
Will my car be charged?
Yes – all cars in our showroom are trickle charged to ensure that the batteries do not die and the car remains operational.
Can you service my car?
Yes – our in-house serving team can carry out all maintenance work, including major and annual services. We can also arrange for your car to get MOT’d.
Will GVE handle V5C and documentation transfers?
Yes – we aim to take away all the hassle from you, so leave dealing with V5C transfers and the documentation to us!
Can I cancel my personal car insurance?
Yes – your car is insured under our policy as soon as an agreement is made and the car is in our possession, so you can cancel your insurance and get a road tax refund.
Will my car be test driven?
We will only allow our customers to test drive your car if you have given them permission to do so. Furthermore, no cars will be test driven without a deposit being taken first.
Can you collect my car?
Yes – We offer a safe, secure and efficient enclosed vehicle transportation service. We can collect and deliver from any destination in the UK.
Our Process
“How will you sell my supercar?”
When your car arrives at GVE London, a health check will be carried out by our in-house servicing team to ensure that the car has no issues.
The car will then undergo a stage 1 detail, by our in-house detailing team, to bring the paintwork back to showroom condition.
After this, our in-house media team will photograph and video the car followed by being advertised on multiple online platforms as well as our extended network.
