Brand New Audi RS7 Satin PPF

Brand New Audi RS7 Satin PPF – This customer came all the way from Wales to have the GVE Detailing team work their magic! He has been following us on Instagram for a while and he loves our work, so he booked in his brand new 70 plate Audi RS7, with less than 500 miles on the clock.

He was initially undecided with regards to what he wanted done to the car, however after speaking with our team, he decided to have his car protected with XPEL Ultimate paint protection film, as he has always loved stealthy looking cars and also wanted to protect his fresh paintwork.

The process began by cleaning the car to remove any impurities and dirt that would cause the PPF to lift in the future. This was done using car shampoo and a clay bar treatment.

Matt from XPEL paid us a visit, as we were the first authorised XPEL installer to work on the new Audi RS7. The car is more flared out than an A7 – the front and rear fenders were looked at in particular plus the rocker panels as well as other subtle changes. He helped the team template and design the patterns so we could use them as well as all other XPEL installers worldwide.

The PPF was then applied to car with a specialist alcohol solution and squeegee tools, without the need for knives, reducing the likelihood of damage that could be caused to the car during the application process.

Satin XPEL ULTIMATE Paint Protection Film was used and will protect this amazing car from stone chips, scratches, scuffs and more. XPEL PPF is self healing and also comes with a 10 year warranty against yellowing and peeling.

We also painted the brake calipers from black to red and painted the 22″ silver alloy wheels in gloss black in our state of the art spay booth.

This RS7 already had 20% VLT rear window tints from factory, however we tinted the front windows in 50% VLT (visible light transmission).

Our customer was over the moon with the final outcome and will definitely bring his future cars to us, so we can transform them into his dream spec!
