A Week at GVE London

This was our last video of 2020. We showcased a full week at GVE London to give you an insight as to what happens on a daily basis at one of the leading independent supercar dealerships in the UK.

The week began with a team meeting, lead by our sales director George. He briefed the team on the major task of the week to set out the structure of work.

The black Ferrari 488 Pista was sold quickly and delivered to our lucky customer via our transport services and a Mercedes AMG GT was booked in for a satin black wrap and a gold caliper spray job for the weekend.

Our McLaren 540C was sold, but our team had to apply a ceramic coating with a tight deadline! The Volcano Orange panels were protected with Crystal Serum Ultra before being handed over to our two lovely customers. The GVE Detailing team were also working on a brand new Tesla, installing XPEL Ultimate Paint Protection Film. A Porsche 911 Carrera GTS was also being prepped for PPF with a full decontamination procedure.

Next, our BMW M4 GTS with delivery mileage was sold and delivered to our lucky customer via our transport services.

We were also able to bring in an Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Edition in to stock. We followed the photography process with this car too! The car is now up for sale. Andreas, one of our purchasers, was also able to bring in an amazing Lamborghini Huracan in to stock!

Then we faced a problem – lacquer was coming off a car’s side mirror. We had to fix the issue before we started to work on the car. We have sold and detailed over 15 cars for the customer that owns this car, so he trusted us to fix the issue. No problem is too big or too small for our team!

Mustafa, our customs manager, worked with our videography and social media managers to record a virtual handover for a customer that had his Jaguar I pace wrapped with a chameleon style vinyl by GVE Customs. This gives our customers a more personal showroom experience despite the effects of the government restrictions.

We also followed Jay, a talented bodyshop technician, who sprayed the calipers of a McLaren 720s to gloss red. GVE sourced and sold the car to the customer, however he wanted red pin striping and some more customisation work that we carried out.
