Caterham Seven 420r PPF

Caterham Seven 420r PPF – This time a brand new ’70 plate’ Caterham Seven 420r was next in line to be protected from the elements by the GVE Detailing team! This car has been made for the track, so our customer asked us to apply paint protection film.

The process began by cleaning the car to remove any impurities and dirt that would cause the PPF to lift in the future. This was done using car shampoo and a clay bar treatment.

The designs of the Caterham panels were then designed on a specialist software and cut using a plotting machine. This was done to ensure that the sheets of PPF matched the shape of the panels perfectly.

The PPF was then applied to car with a specialist alcohol solution and squeegee tools, without the need for knives, reducing the likelihood of damage that could be caused to the car during the application process.

The paint protection film will protect this amazing car from stone chips, scratches, scuffs and more. XPEL PPF is self healing and also comes with a 10 year warranty against yellowing and peeling.

Now our customer can drive as fast as he wants and wash it, without having to worry about light bodywork damage!
