Chrome Turquoise Maserati Wrap – The GVE Customs team’s next project was to transform the look of this Maserati GranTurismo. After creating concept ideas for our client, the final design was agreed – a partial chrome wrap with a break-away ripple effect and branding.

Once the design was finalised, it was digitalised on a specialist computer programme. It was then cut out on our state of the art plotting machine and laid on the panels of the car.

The design included our client’s logo and other details, such as numbers and a stripe, going from the edge of the bonnet to the middle of the roof.

It took a long time to perfect the break-away ripple effect, as these sections were all carefully applied and positioned by hand.

Chrome vinyl is difficult to maintain, as the surface finish is fragile (compared to a stain black finish for example). So, our customer asked us to apply Paint Protection Film to this car to fully protect it against scratches, scuffs, swirl marks and more!

This means that the vinyl will be protected due to the strength and self healing properties of the XPEL ULTIMATE Film. The film also comes with a 10 year warranty against yellowing and peeling.
