Ferrari 488 GTB PPF – The GVE Detailing team have decades of experience combined in bringing cars back to showroom condition. They take a lot pride in their work which can be seen through their amazing results.

Our customer wanted to have the stone chips , swirl marks and scratches removed before any paint protection film was installed. After this had been completed, the car was washed with car shampoo.

Next, the 488 was machine polished. The car was raised using a hydraulic ramp to give the team better access to lower parts of the car. The Ferrari was then washed again to remove any compound, dirt or oil, remaining on the car.

Next the PPF design was created on a specialist software. The design was then plotted, weeded and applied to the car with squeegee and a solution. We only use XPEL ULTIMATE paint protection film, which is self healing and protects paintwork agains stone chips, scratches, scuffs and more! It also comes with a 10 year warranty against yellowing and peeling.

After this, a ceramic coating was applied to the car. This adds an extra layer of protection to the paintwork and prevents break dust and other impurity’s damaging the finish of the alloy wheels. The coating was then left to cure overnight.

Finally, this Ferrari made its way back to our customer via our enclosed transport service.

Our customer was very impressed with the final result and is going to bring in his McLaren 720S for a full paint protection film installation and ceramic coating.
