Mercedes AMG C63 Satin PPF – This time a Mercedes AMG C63 was next in line to be protected by the GVE Detailing team!

The process began by cleaning the car to remove any impurities and dirt that would cause the PPF to lift in the future. This was done using car shampoo and a clay bar treatment.

The shapes of the Mercedes panels were then designed on a specialist software and cut using a plotting machine. This was done to ensure that the sheets of PPF matched the shape of the panels perfectly.

The PPF was then applied to car with a specialist alcohol solution and squeegee tools, without the need for knives, reducing the likelihood of damage that could be caused to the car during the application process.

Our customer wanted to give the car a stealthier look, so he chose Satin XPEL ULTIMATE Paint Protection Film. This will give the car a more aggressive look and achieves an amazing satin finish that costs £1000’s less than a satin finished respray.
