Pininfarina shows production version of Ferrari Sergio model

Italian design company also promises “something astonishing” for Geneva 2016.

To help celebrate its 85th birthday, Italian design house Pininfarina has revealed the full production version of the Ferrari Sergio at the Geneva Motor Show.

Based on the Ferrari 458 Spider it also marks 60 years of working with Ferrari. Just six of the limited edition roadsters will be made – each with their own colour and interior configuration.

Revealing the car, a spokesman for Pininfarina also explained that at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show the company would be showing “something astonishing.” The firm also revealed that it is the German market where it makes the most money from its sales.

Pininfarina is well known for its design (automotive and non- automotive), engineering services, design and construction of very small runs and unique cars, the so-called Fuoriserie (custom-built) vehicles.
