Protecting a Ferrari 458 Spider and F430! – When it comes to protecting your investment, which is something the GVE London team do in-house, one of our most popular options of protection is paint protection film.

We would highly recommend anyone who’s buying a car from us to get a stage two detail from our detailing center and then to get the car protected with paint protection film.

This time we’ve got two red Ferrari’s booked in – a 458 Spider and an F430. The F430 had front end paint protection film installed from a different company. The PPF had to be removed as there were some lifting issues and there were some stone chips and other bodywork damage that needed to be addresses by the GVE Bodyshop team.

The PPF process began with a decontamination wash, clay bar treatment and a detail, to remove all dirt and impurities and to bring the paintwork back to showroom condition on both cars.

Designs were then cut on our state of the art plotter. This allows the team to apply paint protection film to cars without the need for knives, therefore reducing the likelihood of damage occurring during the process.

The GVE Detailing team used XPEL Ultimate Paint Protection Film on both cars. It is self healing and protects paintwork against stone chips, scratches and scuffs as well as harsh weather conditions and road debris. The film also comes with a 10 year warranty against yellowing and peeling.

Both cars were then delivered back to our customers, via our transport service.
